AudioGenie DLL
AudioGenie is a fast 32Bit DLL with over 450 functions to read audio file information (like Bitrate, Samplerate, Frames, Duration, Version-Number, etc). The DLL also has functionality to read and write audio file tags like id3v1, id3v2, ape and more. AudioGenie was written in C++, which provides very good performance. AudioGenie works internally with Unicode-Strings.AudioGenie is Freeware. You can download it from the internet and use it for free. The only restriction is, that AudioGenie displays a small popup message for two seconds on project start, to signify that you are using AudioGenie. AudioGenie supports these Formats: MP3-Files | Musepack Audiofiles / MPEGPLUS | Monkey's Audiofiles | Windows Wavefiles | FLAC Audiofiles | OggVorbis Audiofiles | AAC Files | WMA Files | MP4/M4A Files | The following Tags are readable: ID3 Tags Versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 | Lyrics Tags Versionen 1.00 and 2.00 | APE Tags Version 1.0 and 2.0 | OggVorbis Tags | FLAC-Comments | WMA Tag | MP4/M4A Comments | extended WAV Comments | The following Tags are writable: ID3 Tags Versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 | Lyrics Tags Version 2.00 | APE Tags Version 2.0 | OggVorbis Tag | FLAC-Comments | WMA Tag | MP4/M4a with iTunes | WAV Info chunks | WAV cart chunks. There are over 450 functions in the actual Release.
